Summer Showcase 2025

🌺 Students are getting ready to shine on Saturday, July 19th. Admission is absolutely free, and families are encouraged to bring as many guests as they like — the more, the merrier!

🌺 Be sure to arrive 15 minutes early to The Concert Hall at Mira Costa College, and wear your finest concert attire or your favorite Hawaiian print. We can’t wait to see you there!

🌺 Speaking of timing, we don't want you to miss a beat, so please plan to stay and enjoy the entire show. Our recitals are typically about 1 hour, including awards. We want the first student and last student to have the same audience-and that's you! 🎶

🌺 A reminder about performance protocol: Student smiles 😊 while walking onto the stage and taking a bow as the audience claps to welcome the performer to the stage. Student plays the piece and bows after the performance and audience claps again. Student smiles 😊 while exiting the stage.

🌺 Please bring your book, even if you are playing from memory. It's a good habit to always be prepared. 📖

🌺 Finally, while not required, it is customary for students and teachers to receive flowers 💐 or other small gestures from friends and family after a performance.

Below is the map of Mira Costa College. If you enter the campus from College Bvld. near Home Depot, you will turn into the campus and once inside, turn left to avoid driving around the entire campus to get to the music department.
