Students often have shorter attention spans than previous generations, so teachers need to know how to keep students engaged and inspired to learn.
Your child will be having a good time learning all the foundational skills they need, while being encouraged to find their own voice. Your child's lessons are customized to them, and guided by an experienced teaching director. Your child's outcome is our measure of success.

Dedicated Teaching Team
At Giacoletti Music Center, we don't operate as a collection of independent instructors. We are a dedicated professional teaching team who shares ideas, receive ongoing training, and continually refine our teaching methods.
We believe our students deserve more than someone who simply knows how to play an instrument, they deserve a teacher who is committed to becoming a better educator every year.
Professional Recitals
We have two formal showcases every year at beautiful venues, such as the Concert Hall at Mira Costa College, The Ruby Schulman Auditorium, and The Vistonian.
We also offer multiple opportunities to play at local senior homes, hospitals, and restaurants through out the year. Piano students may participate in the American College of Musicians, Piano Guild Auditions each year. Families appreciate this benchmark each year.
Performance builds confidence, discipline, poise, and a sense of accomplishment.

Piano students have the opportunity to participate in The American College of Musicians Piano Guild Auditions annually. This is an internationally recognized program.
Students receive valuable feedback from an outside judge, along with a certificate and academic medal. These opportunities inspire students to achieve great things and push themselves to do more.
Welcoming Waiting area
We have family-friendly waiting areas, as we know there are very few pauses in our modern rushed lives. We are pleased to offer families a nice place to land while they wait for their student's lesson.
While parents are welcome to sit in on lessons, many choose to wait in our lobby where there are toys and games for younger siblings and wi-fi for the grown-ups.
With many local coffee shops nearby, it's a great weekly ritual your family will enjoy.
Complete Music Education
Students who learn from us not only learn how to make music, but they become well versed in many skills including: reading music, music theory (so learning is quick and natural), improvisation, ear-training, sight-reading, and composition.
Lessons at Giacoletti are more than just "fun lessons". Students are having fun here because they are gaining skills and confidence, and making music, not just hanging out with a fun "teacher" every week. Your family deserves the best.

We have studio wide curriculum we use as a standard for music education to ensure your student gets a well rounded education.
Additionally students are encouraged to work with their teacher to choose pieces they are inspired to learn. We are your student's musical guides.

Awards & Programs
Everyone loves to be acknowledged. We have music awards programs so students get to feel the pride of leveling up and being cheered on by an awesome community of people.
Equivalent to leveling up via karate belts, your student will level up on their chosen instrument and earn awards along the way.
Families enjoy celebrating what their child is learning and keeping track of progress. This method speeds up learning because it puts each student in the driver's seat.

Back Story
We are family and musician owned and operated. We have taught multiple generations of families. In Carlsbad from 1978-2018, we are now located solely in South Oceanside, on Coast Highway across the street from Angelos' Burgers. We love this convenient location, right off the 5 and 78 freeways, close to Carlsbad Village and in the heart of South O.
