Details for our next performance

⭐ Get ready to holiday together at our Holiday Recital on Saturday, December 13th, where our dedicated students will share the joy of the season, and will also share a festive afternoon filled with treats and holiday cheer! Admission is free, and families are encouraged to bring as many guests as they like — the more, the merrier! Think friends, family, and neighbors.
⭐ Be sure to arrive 15 minutes early to The Concert Hall at Mira Costa College, and wear your finest concert attire for an elegant look, or your favorite Christmas sweater — we’re talking twinkling lights and all.
⭐ Speaking of timing, we don't want you to miss a beat, so please plan to stay and enjoy the entire show. Our recitals are typically about 1 hour. We want the first student and last student to have the same audience-and that's you! 🎶
⭐ Now, for the important part — tasty treats! 😄 Students with last names A-M, it’s time to whip up or track down something savory; and N-Z, you have the “sweetest" responsibility—bring something sugary! Please place your goodies on the tables set up in the back, and get ready for the show! *Please refrain from enjoying treats until after the concert.
⭐ Here is a friendly reminder for appropriate performance protocol: Student smiles 😊 while walking onto the stage and taking a bow as the audience claps to welcome the performer to the stage. Student plays the piece and bows after the performance and audience claps again. Student smiles 😊 while exiting the stage.
⭐ Please bring your book, even if you are playing from memory. It's a good habit to always be prepared. 📖
⭐ Finally, while not required, it is customary for students and teachers to receive flowers 💐 or other small gestures from friends and family after a performance.
